為達成 2050 淨零目標,能源轉型是重中之重。除了太陽能與風能,台灣位於西太平洋火環帶,具備巨大的地熱發展潛力。本集特別邀請中央研究院地球科學研究所李建成研究員,分享中研院如何與中油合作,開啟台灣深層地熱的探勘新頁。

中研院地熱計劃 2021年起推動地熱研究,目標是讓基礎科學研究轉化為實質發電貢獻。目前台灣淺層地熱潛能約 1GW,而深層地熱則高達 40GW,是台灣極為重要的基載電力來源。而轉型真正的瓶頸,是行政流程而非科技: 雖然科技進展快速,但李博士直言,行政作業流程是目前最大的阻礙,政府應建立 SOP 行政一條龍,縮短公文往返與審查時間,並投入基礎科學研究以降低產業開發風險。唯有產官學協力縮短「學習曲線」,台灣地熱才能真正成為 2050 淨零的堅實後盾。
