本集《零碳未來》邀請到國立中興大學應用經濟系特聘教授、前農業部部長 陳吉仲教授,與我們深入探討農業在台灣 2050 淨零排放願景中的關鍵角色。

農業部門雖然僅佔全國溫室氣體排放量約 2%,但因其管理全國約七成的國土(包含林地、農地與海洋資源),是國家自然碳匯最重要的提供者。教授特別分享了宜蘭地區的實測案例:在水稻田休耕期改種「滿江紅」,一公頃可固碳約 20 公噸。若以國際碳價每公噸 50 美元計算,農民每年有望增加約新台幣 3 萬元的額外收入。這不僅提供了增匯誘因,也讓農業成為企業 ESG 投資的新藍海。

而針對高科技產業(如竹科企業)對綠電與碳權的強烈需求,陳教授建議企業可直接投資農業生產端的增匯專案。雖然目前的 MRV(監測、報告與驗證)成本對單一農民而言相對沉重,但透過企業 ESG 參與或政府獎勵,能更快速地落實轉型。

最後,教授鼓勵消費者選購具備「產銷履歷」或「有機標章」的農產品,這不只是為了食安,更是對台灣永續環境的最直接支持。
